An Emergency Management Plan (EMP) includes a detailed risk assessment, actionable measures to reduce these risks and comprehensive emergency procedures that cover communication, response and evacuation.

The development of the EMP requires a series of meetings with relevant stakeholders whose roles encompass emergency management. Euca Planning will work closely with these stakeholders, as well as research and provide information that drive decision-making.

What you can expect during EMP development:

  • Review of existing documentation and regulatory requirements

  • Desktop analysis of risk factors and corresponding site inspection

  • Identification of hazards with corresponding background research

  • Identification of assets, values and functions and documentation of their credible exposure and vulnerabilities

  • Documentation of existing and additional treatments and their strengths and weaknesses

  • Draft and review of EMP

  • Final EMP based on stakeholder feedback
